Melee combat in CoS will be </p><p></p><p>click-and-swing , but Ranged combat and spells will be generally more </p><p></p><p>like other MMORPG's. Our game engine was purchased , and is about 2 </p><p></p><p>years old , but actually supports some very nice effects and tools </p><p></p><p>that will greatly increase the look of skins and models including bump </p><p></p><p>maps , very advanced materials and particle systems ect.. </p><p>Our textures will be Real Life Based. </p><p></p><p> The World itself will be on The continent of Karthanis , which is </p><p></p><p>very large , and on on half are the 6 races in their small cities , </p><p></p><p>villages , and fortresses where they have fled from Drakengar, An Evil </p><p></p><p>Dragon Lord and his Wizards of the Dark Ring. </p><p> The 5 races of Karthanis fled from Drakengar , leaving behind </p><p></p><p>their Great city of Amantius after the Dark Ring had infected the </p><p></p><p>peoples from within using their dark Magic. </p><p></p><p>The World is Full of fortresses , and resources such as gold mines , </p><p></p><p>copper mines , towns , cities , all capturable for guilds , and </p><p></p><p>Drakengar's forces. Fortresses and resources are able to be garrisoned </p><p></p><p>with NPC merc's. The maximum number of merc's depends on the size of </p><p></p><p>the fortress or resource. All resources generated go into the guilds </p><p></p><p>vault , stationed in their main fortress , which can also hold guild </p><p></p><p>items and currency.
