Are you going to continue to be a gamer even though the fees proceed upward?

I'll quit buying new game systems when they all go digital and there are no more game disks. I'm a collector so I like my limited edition boxes.

But I'll still be a gamer, I'll just be playing older games.

Well, PC gaming has gone all digital with the advent of Steam and other digital distributors. I've got about 100 games on my Steam account. No I don't have the boxed copies of these games, but are they not my game collection? I don't see why you need an actual disc to warrant a game collection aside from the fact that a digital one can't take up tons of space in your house.

I know I myself may consider to just find a new hobby. Either that or just keep to older games. Their high as it is, if they go up more next system cycle, count me out.
