I just started on the Kalah-where-did-he-get-his-power-from-quest. When I finished the original quest, and saved Aerie, I was quickly approached by a little girl who commented on Kalah. She told me that Kalah left the circus during the night some time, and met up with someone. This man gave him a lamp, and told him that he could wish for everything while he carried it (where have I heard this before?). The girl stole the lamp from Kalah and gave it to me (or to Minsc, actually, he butted in on the conversation half way) with the comment on it that it was (probably) "broken" because it doesn't work anymore. The item description friendly told me that "polishing it as much as possible wouldn't have any effect." The little girl told me that I might find this man in the Crooked Cane, in the Gate District. I'm putting this on hold, because I want to get Haer'Dalis and Mazzy first. Xan, an NPC-mod is installed right now too. I just LOVE~~~ depressed elves. :P "We're all doomed!" "I have been captured and all." "Ah." Reminds me a bit of myself sometimes. :P Again he is stealing my lines. "Something bad can happen to everyone... though it happens to me a bit too often for my liking." (It's something I say quite often normally) Xan looks like a good mage though, and he has some positive feedback of modders. However, I want to take him along, but I already am going to take Imoen with me. Besides that, he has nice stats, though he is extremely low on health (38) with only 8 constitution. He has a nice personal long-sword though, which gives him 50% fire resistence as well. Besides that, it's a mere +3 long sword. I'll take him along sooner or later though, because of his quest.
