I think he uses Prize Rebel and in that cite you can get points from .1-7 depending on the survey. So yes, you can get half a point and less!

are you confused on how to use it?

If you are, just click on available offers-->100% free--> then complete the requirements and you should be credited within the day and once u get enough points its free stuff time!
