Someone has proposed him as middleman. I know nothing of him, no forum kudos, nothing. Can anyone suggest a highly ranked forum member as middleman? Please? We could give him a small reward maybe.

Yeah he's legit. Traded some dota2 keys through him. He has a list where he keeps track of scammers. A lot of "good traders" got banned because of him ).

If you want to use a trusted middleman, look on steamrep.com
Also the Steam Group "Traders Guild" has admins that are reliable for middlemanning.
I don't think Yatterman does account middlemans though.

Trade guild, mmm never used it so i don't know what to say.
