Last-gen helping out this-gen…if only the rest of the

There already is a DVD drive in the wii, Nintendo just won't write a program for the wii. Its actually pretty sad, a couple months ago the 360 and ps3 were fighting with each other about HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. The PS3 won, but the wii is still fighting for just plain DVDs. It is unexcusable.

A dvd drive isn't really needed in the Wii, it's fine how it is. Sure it'd be a handy add-on.
But how many of us already have seperate, or built-in dvd drives on your tvs?
I for one have 3 dvd players, 2 tv-dvd combo's 1 xbox360 Elite dvd player [dvd combo + 360 in my room] and also a portal dvd player, and thats for one household and i'm betting pretty much all households have at least one type of dvd players.
Oh wait, i have 2 pc's which add's another 2 dvd players, since even those play dvds.
However it's quite amusing to see a playstation advertise for nintendo, enemies, in a sense helping each other.
