Hmm... I thought school started for other people already too. I guess I was mistaking then. At the start of the year, I could choose out of four languages to take as an extra class. At the minimum, I had to choose one. I could choose between: English, German, Spanish and Fren... and Spanish. Naturally, I picked English. Because I don't want 15 hours of self-study hours, I took Spanish too. Together with four friends, we're hesitating to take German too. Eitherway, I'll keep sucking in it. :P A friend of mine has a real language-talent. Despite that she is four years younger than I am, she speaks ten languages more than I do... even though I only speak two languages (fluently), but am eager to learn Frisian. Unfortunately, I thought she also spoke Spanish... but that is one of the languages she doesn't speak. This results in a problem for me, because I don't have any direct contacts that speak Spanish. And why is everyone so negative about school? I was not too positive about my school either (and blame me. The fact that half of my class still misses half, if not all, their books) but it ended up (besides last tuesday; I had one of the worst days in my life) being up a good time. Despite that I am in a not-too-great class, I still know half of the people in there, and am friends with four of them. I mean, those four people are all former classmates, and two of them are more than just former classmates to me - and I to them. One of those friends left to England last year for studies. Because she wasn't sure her English was good enough, she practiced on me (my offer). On the day that she left to England (Coincidentally I happened to be at school at that time *cough*), I half-joked to her: "Make sure you're better in English than me when you're back." Something which shouldn't be too hard, in general. I do am curious if she is better than me now. :P
