Does an animated gif slow down your PC if it is your desktop pic?

ctrl alt del and watch your performance taskbar. if explorer has over 5 cpu percent at idle I am guessing it is. you can also toggle the background on and off to see if it jumps anything up.

ok so here it is...

I like the way it looks maxed on my screen...

when I have nothing open it takes cpu usage, if i have IE open it doesnt do crap.

i dunno... fuck it'
