Ok I normally hate almost anyhting that comes out of Japan for sucking or being the same crap, but just repackaged. But this one book series caught my attention.
The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
It's pretty much about Kyon, a high school student who gets mixed up with a girl who is complelty nuts. She can change the world around her and she doesn't even know about it. She is obsessed with aliens time travels and espers(physics)
She is so obessed with them that they acually appear and become apart of her group without even knowing what they are. Quite funny just to think she wanted them to appear and yet their right there.
When I first learned about this series I thought it'd be dumb as hell, but it quickly absorbed me into it's plot.
