Wireless Sensor Bar

Do the wireless sensor bars work well enough?

Is there a difference in quality/performance from the different brands?

Am I better off just getting a cable extension?

Thanks for you help in advance.

i think the wireless sensor bar is cool but its 10$, so just keep the on u have and dont waste ur money

The one I have is not long enough...that is why I'm considering the wireless one. Unless it really sucks, then I'll get the cable extension...but I don't like having a cable running across my whole room.

They arent really sensors, they just give off light to triangulate the wii remote. you can use candles instead, you just cant have any ambient light.

I read somewhere that Wireless Sensor bars boast a longer range. I don't know if it's true or not.

if they are what i think they are
then i think i know why they have longer range
(i think its a sensor bar that is the same as original but connects wirelessly, lol, there are other ones i can think of)

say the wiimote to the sensor bar is, 10m (rough guess)
then the wireless sensor bar to the wii could be ,10m (rough geuss)
then the total length from you to the tv would be 15m (or more depending on length)

other than 10 and a half when its the original sensor bar saying the length of that is probs half a meter.

Thanks Everyone...I ended up getting a Nyco Wireless Sensor Bar for $20 and then some rechargable batteries to use with it.
