Air Power Mod for Supreme Commander

I'm merely mentioning this here b/c I'd mentioned it elsewhere before to some people.

Anyway, I'm starting a mod for the upcoming game Supreme Commander. The mod is called the Air Power Mod, and it's aptly named. Why you ask? It will basically be an air-based RTS. Basically, it's set in the modern day, utilizing modern technology. Players will start with either an airfield or aircraft carrier, as well as a small base. They will work their way from there, fighting opponents for control of the air. The mod is not solely based on air combat, as there is a ground aspect as well, but the ground warfare is not the primary focus (many of you will recall that I am indeed a professional designer, and I have already implimented the necessary design to ensure that this holds true; I won't elaborate much now, but I shall later). However, the warfare on the ground will still be integral to the mod.

I will reveal more in later posts here, but this was merely meant as an update, and something to pique your interest. Should any of you be interested in possibly applying for a position on the team, feel free to reply or pm me.

terran i think you should get GTW mod done before you even start this new one but either way this belongs in the gaming forum

My main job is design, which I've already completed for GTW. My work won't really pick-up until alpha testing. Basically, it's just day to day management atm.

Heh, aye. It's also extremely innovative from a design standpoint. It's getting extremely strong support already from the SupCom community. It's possible it might become CS-like (by that, I mean how CS got to where it is now), but then again CS is an FPS whereas SupCom is RTS. Let's hope for the chance to make some cash!
