So I have to work tomorrow during a disaster recovery test in Orlando. Basically if a hurricane was to hit tampa, they would temporarily move shop to Orlando to continue business.
Anyway, my manager starts babling about how important it is for us to be there during the real thing. So i turned and looked at him and said "are you serious? The last thing im going to worry about when a storm is going to blow away everything i have (family too) is my job."
Well he gets all agitated and says "you can be fired for not being there". So i said "are you going to be there". He says "no because he would have to drive his family somewhere safe since he lives in a mandatory evacuation area".
So i start laughing and told him "lead by example and until then, if you try to fire me ill own this company."
He calls me a negative person and walks away?????????????? What a fucktard!!!
