I have no idea why, but about half the time that I play CA, I suck.

Suuuuuuuucccckkkkkk.

Horribly.

4/33 was a game I recently played.

Against the EXACT same people, the match directly after, I got a 49/6.

My reaction time was NUTS. People were screaming chams left and right, and I was quickscoping like a beast. My aim was perfect with my shotty.

I was on the same team, against the same people, using the same guns, playing in the same map, etc. etc.

Then I went back to sucking on people's thumbs while they tear me limb from limb.

What is this madness? ADHD? Is somebody injecting me with drugs while I sleep? Like METH!???!?!?

Pray, help me.

Guns I commonly use: M24 (slower gameplay OR pwnage accolades while spawn camping alpha in waverider from the hole in the tower, all headshots)
L96A1 (quickscoping)
AK-47
SCAR-L

I seem to do better at some things with the AK than the SCAR, and visa versa, which is only natural. Same thing with the L9 vs. M24 - I'm not going to headshot somebody across the map using an L9. For sure. But it's just my aim/reaction time/dexterity that's affected by these weird leaps of skill. What could this BE? What is this monstrosity?

Like I stated on the other thread . We go from Low to high alot .

You will hit slumps when playing any fps . I'm sure even my bud Emnesty has his off days .

I know Emnesty has his off days, he has a video about it lol. But I mean that within seconds, I transform from a puddle guts on the floor into an awesome fighting machine with reaction time faster than...

Speaking of Emnesty... I remember playing against him a long time ago. He was on ATastyCookie and everybody was like WOW HACKER WOW HACK HACK WOW HACK

And I had just watched a video of some guy quickscoping. So, miraculously saving my integrity, I was like, "Are you quickscoping? :O" And he said, "Yesh "

And I rejoiced. I didn't know that he was famous until I looked him up on youtube, because he was pwnage enough to probably be on youtube (gasp, he was). A little bit ago I saw him in what he was telling the noob mod to make a Snow Valley elim, and I was going off about some noob hacker exlaiming that I was "too noob to talk to him" because my KDR was lower than his.

Teah. I was quite pissed. I sent him a random friend invite, because he seems like a pretty cool person to get to know, especially after having had fun with him that one time in snow valley even while being royally owned by him lol. And he denied it! D: I mean, duh, I was on a different account and he wouldn't recognize me anyway rofl. So I was put out, and I cried for many moons.

But seriously. Back on topic. I can understand having off days. But each match, my skill level is different. Even while playing the same people. :O It's just so weird. And it doesn't happen that fast to anybody else I know.

Lol , Emnesty's friend list is now full and Nexon banned his aTastyCookie account because of the kdr .
He's just that damn good .Rofl .

He doesn't just snipe though . He is also good all round . And not always quickscoping aswell .

I think he mainly just has good hand/eye co-ordination .

I played him the other day actually , and he royally pwned me . Rofl . We play on the occasion .

His clan is Awesomeness . paroxysme or something . like seriously , WOW .

But then they would have to be good If he was in them lol .

im a great player is just that my computer is pure crap and its to laggy , im saving some green to buy a new one .

Theres a guy as good as aTastyCookie that plays another fps but is single mode and its doom3 , hes named Aaron and he kicks butt. He beat the game without dieng 1ce so i think thats him .

Yeah, I can be good all around when I get into the groove too -50 kills with an AK-47 alone in a room in which I was totally owned during the previous match-. I don't know how I'd manage to work on my consistency since I'm always trying my hardest to plawn. :/ It's just, there are times when I could wipe the floor with anybody (literally, I've never lost a game when I'm in that groove - I'm always better than EVERYBODY else ), and there are times when you could follow the little drops of Poog you see staining the snow to a giant pile of Pooguts.

Gross, man. Gross.

BUT - there is some light being shed on this situation as I consider what could be going on! I'm best when I'm in a good mood. When I'm in rooms full of hackers all the time, I can never pull myself out of the garbage, even after playing 5 legit games in a row.

Another bit of light - my computer's connection is all over the place. Our phone lines are special in that our Quest DSL gets us 26.1 KB/S.

That's not even dial up.

My friend has the same internet, better phone lines, a better graphics card (I'm getting one soon), and a gaming mouse (I'm getting one soon). When I'm at his house, I'm unstoppable. :O So perhaps mainly my problem is my internet connection (DUH). A demonstration of how random it is can be illustrated in the following illustration of UMP fire rate (each o represents a bullet being fired, and this is while holding down the button):

I hate the UMP because it fires slower than an M14 for me, and then all of a sudden goes to the speed at which it's supposed to fire, and then back to slower than an M14. And somehow, I still manage to get into those grooves where I can quickscope like Emnesty.
