Bands worth checking out?

Give em to me. I'm looking to fill my MP3 player before I hit Miami in 2 weeks. Who's some new bands to listen to right now? I like hardcore mostly, metal etc.

So far, good new stuff I picked up is Wolfmother, The Sword, Black Label Society, Unearth, Dillinger escape plan, Lamb of God...all mixed in with some old school The Cramps, The Misfits & Samhain.

**Edit: This Wolfmother shit kicks some serious ass btw. It's like a mix between the White Stripes and Black Sabbath. It fucking rocks.

man, i like that stuff too but once i hear the misfits, legacy or walk among us or shit any of it, then nothing i hear after that that day does the trick.  like, where do you go from there?  more misfits!

anyway, on a side note, i found out yesterday that "Danzig" is actually a city somewhere.  that sneaky bastard was a geography nerd, lol.

Oh yea, bunny and i were talking about the band "Morphine" yesterday, its not heavy but it is worth a check out.  the dude was a brilliant lyricist and the style is leeter than 2.
