Billy if this all hurts your feelings its ok... I suggest just putting on some Sublime and looking at the ceiling for a bit, it will all pass. Nothing like Sublime, try "Badfish" its my fave song ever. I think that with this small issue and the fact that you went to the extent of acting like her, maybe you should just come to terms with being a little strange. Remember that people arnt worth lying to, if they don't accept you for being Billy, then they don't deserve your effort. A lie like this is only a waste of your time and energy. A small lie is followed by larger ones, building a card house in your head. Just hold your chin up high, be proud of being alone without that little vixen and the one a million times better then her will stumble right into your path... You will be there with open arms and a silly look on your face that she will find irresistible. If this doesnt work, I suggest giving her two pints of booze, or going after a big blue whale grab the reef when all duck diving fails.
