Combat Arms Not Starting!!

My computer meets all the system requirments and ive tried reinstalling ive tried running in compatibilty mode windows 98 i dont know what to do! help! i press game start and it makes it through hacksheild and then it goes black it flashes the start bar a few times then it says its not responding and closes im runnint on windows vista
