comp is fucked up already

okie dokie, my comps charger got over heated and my charger made a popping sound, now when ever i play cs it lags like a bitch (first time it ever did) and wheni take the charger out it lags even more. wtf is worng w/ my laptop, do i need a new charger, i got my fuck damn warrenty that is worth shit!

I'm assuming you have an intel chip. What I think is happening is that your charger is screwed, so your comp is throttling down the processor clock so as to save electricity, and furthering the problem when you unplug the charger. I would recomment buying a new charger. I got one for a Dell at work and it was about $60.00.

Suxor hit it right on the nose. The popping sound was the charger dying. Sure it will still charge your laptop but now its doing it in a dangerouse way. My charger died once exactly the same way. I didn't lag when I used to play but I was getting mini fireworks everytime I used it. So I went out and bought a new charger and its good as new. I play on my desktop now anyways, so its all good.

I'd be careful not to use your charger anymore. It might blow the power supply on the laptop, and if that happens... it'll cost more than getting a new charger.
