Both AMD and Intel have their pros and cons.....
Yes u will get 10 more fps with AMD , but if im right teh human eye cannot detect anything above 70 fps so whats the fukin point?? 120 or 130 fps is the same shit.
I my opinion benchmarks dont mean shit, IMO I said ...no need to start a flamewar.
Intel will be faster in things that you can actually notice.......
I'm happy with my 3.2 Prescott...wish it would run a lil cooler , but its all good....
Also overclocking an Intel chip its less bs than OC an AMD chip.
Yes I know AMD came strong on the market the last year and a half(?)...whenever they came out with the A64's and prolly my next chip will be an AMD.
Anyhow most of ppl couldnt tell the fuckin differnce anyway.....if u dont OC, benchmark or do something hardcore like videoediting and shit like that either company will do you just fine.

Remember too that AMD beat Intel to 1GHz. Intel had the troublesome 1 gig chips that were flaky at best while the Athlon was busy pwning in volume.
