I use 1024x768 32 bit color and 85Hz refresh both in windows and in-game.  This enables a smooth transition from in-game to windows and you will not have to manually tweak your monitor settings to get an undistorted full screen image in whatever you are running.  You should then do the video stress test so that you can optimize in-game setings for maximum fps.  I shoot for at least 60.  Remember- when you are in a 32 person server surrounded by n00bs lobbing smoke grenades in a fire fight your machine will slow to a crawl.  I hope this helps.</p></blockquote><p></p>
