Well my map iWell my map is a Lotr map it happens Few years before Smaug attacks Erebor(The Hobbit).
it happens in north middle earth From Shire To Rhun/From The Grey Mountains To Loth lorien

We tried to place mountains forrests and spawns as correct as we chould.
This map has new models and skins some from www.wc3sear.ch some made by me New music from my friend and a great terrain (imo)

Could you show some more terrain fotos so it will be a little easier to judge wheather it is good terrain or nothing special, kinda hard from that 1 picture of the chairs

Well from what I can see on the new pictures taken from above the terrain doesent look "that" good made to me but it is a bit hard to see details so just a short shallow comment really

Terrain looks good, but i say good, not great.
Could always use improvements.

we are improving it. And its almost completed iam now just making units and spells and fixing some triggers

I have read LOTR about 3 or 4 times, The Hobbit once, and I never looked at the Silmalirion (I think thats how its spelled I just guessed, but I just got the Silmarlirion and going to read it. I read LOTR in 4th grade, I am currently in 8th.

i have read all Lotr Hobbit silmarillion And first 5 Home books.

I have hobbit, LOTR, simillarion (or however it's spelled..) and "Other Stories"
i have yet to read the latter two.
One thing on improving you cliffs, try to make them more...randomized. Make the basic cliff (height, width, etc) out of 2 increasing, then use 1 increase and 1 decrease to make the edges look more natural. Just a small point.

In my oppinion the best way to make mountains is to not place cliffs at al but by raising the terrain instead, that way you can customize it ALOT more the way you want it + add alot more of doodads for smaller details.

yeah we did that one one or 2 bases(raising terrain) But i like to have the mountains like this becouse im kinda lazy and i dont like pathing Blockers, and we are adding more doodads and making Mountins Look Natural.

Nice screens, this looks much better than much of the other stuff showed earlier But on the first picture teh terrain could be a little more varied. Just 2 types a tile excluding the one used for cliffs.
