get rid of pop-ups?

hey people. lately was chasing for some hacked pokemon roms like shinygold and those. i also downloaded naranja. since then i keep getting pop-ups. any idea's how to get rid of them? normally neva get them so got no idea :glare:

try doing a virus scan, or download a pop-up blocker

you said in the other forum firefox doesnt open up? If that is the case try restarting your pc.

just google "pop-up blocker" im sure you'll find on that runs on your browser

firefox doesn't open up?? errr did i say that? i don't get it. my settings are already at "dont allow pop-ups".

try adblock plus.....it works by removing ads, and pop-ups, may help, may not.

did not help, pretty weird lol but i just give up i use IE for a while i guess, or safari.

Have you scanned your computer for any Spyware?
Use something like Spybot Search & Destroy (which is free) to see its just spyware causing these problems

well as i mentioned before ( i think ), it does find no virusses and i didn't even download anything last few weeks. but since yesterday, dont have problems with it. sounds very weird but its true.

I guess it just needed a few hard resets to clear the RAM
