If you aren't great friends (Don't have a relationship to ruin) just let her know.
If you are friends, (Have been for a long time, really strong friendship) and you think the relationship is going to last long and be serious, then go on a walk or something with her, at a mall or some other place (Preferably less crowded than a mall), and as you are about to leave just tell her and then let her think about it until the niext time she sees you.

One word of advice, if you do snag her, DO NOT SMOTHER HER. IE: Give her space to do things on her own, giving her too much space will cause her to find someone else.
Be an asshole to a certain extent but don't be a dick. Jokingly play around with words to see what pisses her off and what doesn't. Being nice too much will cause her to find the bad guy. So keep it even and balanced between asshole-ness and nice-ness.
Surprise her with things (Flowers or something she enjoys. Nothing too expensive, just something from the heart.)
Compromise and Communication are big things in a relationship.
You have to be willing to give and receive but don't run over her and don't let her run over you.

If she expects lots of gifts from you.. drop her. No one likes a gold digger.

That was more along the lines of a joke what I stated earlier. It all depends on the girl bro. If you sit around watching porno's all day, of course you're going to think that. If you have a 3 - 4 inch dick.. Then yes, I do believe she's going to seek pleasure elsewhere but what was it they say, a female's vagina has a 4 inch pleasure sensor or sense. Which ever way you want to put it. Some girls like it big and some average. I've heard some stories, some prefer width than a whole lot of length..and vice versa but if the girl's a whore, it's understandable. Knowing how to hit that G-Spot is really the key.
