The birthday of a friend, Wolf. He is exactly one day younger than Wesley.Really? Congratulations then. My computer has a hard time supporting the game after four seasons. I wrote a 72-paged report my first four seasons some time ago. But because the game turned so slow, I don't play it as often anymore.I'm currently playing as (like always, it's the team I support after all) SC Heerenveen, a sub-top team from the Netherlands. I don't have any grand achievements though. I don't know much about the Mexican league ('nothing' would be more accurate, actually), but you do know the three European competitions, right? (Intertoto, UEFA-cup and the Champions League) In theory, I should be able to win the UEFA-cup with ease right now. Unfortunately, theory is often proved false during football. ^^ I never won the UEFA-cup on that save, nor did I ever won the Champions League (not on any other related games either, I've won the UEFA-cup several times on other saves and previous games). Not too long ago, I made my biggest achievement ever in the Champions League, however. I reached the semi-finals and had to deal with the English top-club, Chelsea. Because of an insanely amount of injuries in my defence, before the match, I lost both games with an eventually two goals difference. The injuries were natural, and not a bug in the game - as many complained about - as most players were already injured and I didn't really have a big team; I like to work with small teams, you see. By the time I had to face Chelsea, I had two first team defenders left and one youth-defender (Joey v/d Bergh); Joey wasn't fit though. It would have been hard enough to stop Chelsea's constant attacks with all my four first-team defenders, not to mention with the poor team I had left. Luckily, my first team striker (who scored more than 55 times in total in one season) never got injured during the time I was in need of them. Back in the time of Football Manager '05, my top scorer of all time was Afonso Alves (who coincidentally was bought by Heerenveen in real life), who scored a big 40 times in total of a single season, despite not playing on his favorite position. Throughout my entire save of '06, I wanted to have my top-striker and Alves in one team. However, Alves decided to go from one team to the other. He started in Sweden and left for Italy by the I gave interest in him. When I wanted to try again (a year later), he left for England. After a season of preparing my team (and going to play Champions League), I tried to cash him in again. This time he left for Mexico. I wonder if he is trying to make a world-journey or something. Afonso Martin Junior Alves would certainly be perfect in this team. Funny enough, in every place he played, he scored just as much.
