Why is my ping at 100+ for ALL CZ servers?

Just happened in the past few hours.

After Worm helped me set up a IRC channel I cant play CZ now!

ROFL well try a few things to give us an idea...

disconnect your IRC client and check your pings,

if that doesnt fix it you may jsut be having isp issues our of your control.

and as always update all of your drivers for your NIC and any other hardware that may need it

I dunno wtf... I tried a restart, I ran steam ONLY, I ran spy and ad aware software, I tried to reset my modem, I did all sort of shit, my internet is fine and everything is fast EXECEPT steam.

no other changes to anything? then its most likely a isp issue, call them or wait and it will most likely fix itself

open up a command prompt

type tracert <punx ip(w/o :27015)>

Most of the pings in their should be pretty low except for where you're getting a problem.

And it would be wise to decrease the hops to 15-20 to get accurate times....

Maybe its because STEAM SUX! My ping has sucked for the past few days or maybe even weeks but after I play for like an hour it will go back down to normal.
