Hi, i bought my wii yesterday.
Have thought about if for 1 year now, and finally i went to the shop to buy it. At the moment i got wii sport and wii games. 2 remote and 1 nunchuck.

But, even if i bought the wii, i can't play it. Because my brother have started to play, and he never let me play.

But, what games do you suggest is worth the money.

Mario? as good as the old on N64?

Mario is great, and i would also suggest Metroid Prime 3 and Zelda for starting out

On mario, is there many thing to discover. On the movies it looks like it only one line to follow. Not a whole world to discover new things in, or is it just me got the wrong idea?

If you have played Mario 64 or mario sunshine it is a little like that in that you go from the main place, and go to different places, and in Galaxy you go to different worlds depending on how many stars you have collected, the more you gather the more worlds that open up, and there are mini-game worlds and worlds with bosses etc.

Mario is worth it because it is indeed big but its not that overwhelming. You focus on one world at a time and its smooth sailing from there.
