As some of you may know, I moved home to parents house after graduation. I haven't been playing much CZ due to the fact that my parents had a 384k connection and I lagged very badly when trying to play on a near-full PuNx server.
When I first got home I asked him to call and see how much it would be to upgrade. He did and they told him it would be $20 more a month. He, of course didn't go for it. Well, after hounding my dad for the last three weeks, and throwing finally throwing in $108 to help pay for the differnece in cost I got him to call charter for a second time.
He called last night and was on the phone with them for about 20 min. I'm not sure how the conversation was going, I was so excited that I was pacing around outside trying to contain myself.
He came out with a big grin. Somehow, something to do with him having and old, outdated package plan, they upgraded him to a 3mb connection, plus two more sports channels for, get this, $5 less a month.
So anyway, I'm back to a 3mb connection and shouldn't lag on the server anymore. So I'm thinking it will take about 5 days to stop trying to compensate for the lag I was getting used to...then it's on! Can''t wait to dead you all......hell I'm so elated, you guys can dead me!
