Infinate loop error?!

I figure someone here may be able to help me with this. Ever since I got my new video card (I'll have to get the exact specs when I get home, but it's a 128MB NVIDIA GeForce) my computer crashes and tells me that my vid card went into "infinate loop". WTF is that and how do I fix it? I tried to download drivers from NVIDIA but it didn't work.

Can you provide all the details of the error. A lot of times there is a hex-number associated with it.

The next time it happens I'll write down everything it tells me. When I reboot their is a window says to click "here" for info on what happened but I dont understand anything in there.
