OK, so I think I figured out how to do this IRC thing. I have Trillian hooked up with AIM, MSN Messenger, and now IRC. I picked gamesurg as the IRC server and used Puppet for a nickname. I entered into the options under the "Perform Buffer" section: /join #punxclan

When Trillian opens up I get a window that opens and it says:

[21:41] *** #PuNxClan: Puppet @[Lo3]WoRm-FD @ChanServ
[21:41] *** Mode change "+v Puppet" for channel #PuNxClan by ChanServ.
[21:41] *** -ChanServ- (#PuNxClan) 66.36.236.37:27015 CZ Back up and now running
[21:41] *** #PuNxClan was created on Fri Nov 12 00:56:16 2004.

It shows Worm in the list but he doesn't seem to really be there.
OK, I did it. Now what? What is this supposed to do for me? And please, no more gibbrish.

I used mIRC back in my team fortress classic days because the rest of the squad did and I swear the thing does almost absolutely nothing for you.

its a chatroom, plain and simple

your pretty much supposed to jsut idle the room and if you ned something then you can ask, and if someone is there they can answer.....

nothing to special, overrated IMHO

gamesurge fucked irc up. it does shit like this to me
all the time now. i dont have time to do hw everytime
they catch a lawsuit or fire a programmer....but i like

You have too may joins in your perform statement

You need to start a timer or something. Put it between the joins.
