Yeah, suprised the hell out of me. Last night left work late (7:30 pm) and it was snow/rain mixture. This morning I woke up to about 1-1/2". I live in a river valley so I didn't get too much accumulation, but surrounding areas got 4" to 6". The bad thing is that the trees still have their leaves, so the weight of the snow broke branches and downed many trees. We are trying to get an electric meter set on one of our sites, but the power company is all backed up trying to restore power to 7,000 to 10,000 customers. I took a pic from inside of my truck this morning. I will post it later (my camera is out in my truck).
Yeah, so far in Slippery Rock we just had a mixture at around noon Suxor, I gotta call my parents who live in Irwin to see if they got any. Where do you live? Fayette county area?
I live in Buffalo, NY and we have had NO SNOW! So quit picking on us dammit! We had one bad year in 1977, and no one will let us forget it, but I'll take a blizzard over a hurricane anyday.
Of course Atlanta didn't get any snow but everyone was walking around with winter jackets on today....bunch a babies. I love this time of year in Atlanta.
