is Renchi a scam?

I was just wondering if that japanese import site, Renchi is a scam.I just want to know incase I intend to buy from them.I mean are there any catches I should look out for when buying from this site.

watch out for import and custom taxes. i bought a psp from lik-san before they were out in the uk and a month later received a £40 import tax bill from customs

I was thinking of buying a wii from them back when they were in incredible demand. They had one for $189 but then i read it again and the shipping was more than $200.
