I wanted to ask this question too.
Statwise it definitely looks worse than the K2 for example. Everything the same but less RoF. How does it perform ingame?
Does it just have a better feeling?

The SCAR is a good gun, I like the K2,FAMAS and the M416 better tho.

If your using it like a UMP i would say is has better range, but not as good in CQC.
Remember it's an Assault rifle.

From my experience it bridges the gap between Assault rifles and SMGs.
I think of it as a medium distance SMG.

I'm not a real fan of it so fans would say I'm not doing it justice.

I like the SCAR, however I prefer a UMP for CQC. I use the SCAR for Medium Range, and G36E for long range

I would choose SCAR over UMP for close to med combat (if I had to choose both guns). But for long range, I recall SCAR wins over UMP.

But I use the G36E for all ranges because it can!

I started off with the SCAR and it was my favorite weapon! I got a lot of kills with it and did pretty good. Since, I've switched to the UMP and done much better in close combat. I also use the M4A1 for long to medium long range as my backup weapon.

it depends,if u spray close range is sucks,but with some skill you can best anyone with it

Ya, using a UMP people with SCARs tend to fare better against me sometimes, they kill me more than others with UMPs. It's more versatile, almost as good close range and more accurate mid-long range. Yet to try it beyond snagging from the dead sometimes, seems pretty good though.
