See, I was just looking around and I found this:

Now my question is does anyone know of any thread which are longer than 9527 pages?
BTW, looking up "The Longest Thread" on google doesn't work

gaiaonline.com may be able to beat that, maybe not. I don't visit Gaia Online very much but I have seen some topics with 50,000 or more replies.

that first thread now has 8795 since i typed that. it's basically just a chat thread.

Ouch. Those are quite the threads.

No, the longest thread I've ever seen isn't too impressive... especially compared to those. I recall a fierce (though not hostile) discussion a few years ago at a forum I used to attend to. But before a conclusion was brought to it, the forum... uh... went down, and never got back. Then again, that usually happens when I'm the member of a forum (do a search, you'll notice that any forum I ever attended to either disappears, starts anew or just plainly gets deleted).

AC.net had quite a big thread last time I checked. I'm not sure if the forum still exists though. I haven't visited it in more than a year now.

these numbers really depend on how many posts per page though. but it doesn't matter that much, those are some really long threads.

EDIT: most of the other long threads i found had been going for years, since 2002 and that sort of thing. that gaia one started feb 2006.... that is just crazy.

Anime Chains. I was an active member back in 2002, or something like that. But because a lack of activity in the subforums I liked, I became less active a bit more every time, until I finally left. I never really returned.

Though what would you expect of a forum that been created by one of the best polish magazines... if not the best one.</span>

ForgottenWars(.net, I think) should have a few big threads too. I don't visit their forum much, so...
