Lordi won the Eurovision

Even though Lordi isnt an excellent band, it is still a Hard Rock one, and they won the Eurovision. The european shit-music factory just got pwned by Finland, all hail Finland :yay:
Really, Eurovision really suck, each country send their worst singers and that's all, cause if they win, they'll have to pay the organisation for the next year... And Finland dared send Lordi ! That rocks^^.

Next year, I hope they'll send a Black Metal band.

I thought lithuania was extremely funny, i was laughing my head off AT them, lol! As for the finland entry, i thought the song and lyrics sucked, but the costumes where super cool, and they where the only one that put in rock, so they deserved to win, hands down!

I didn't see much of the other countries entries (missed UK,what was that like??) I think Lordi are OK but their lyrics are...kinda rubbish. Also the main singer of the group is really boring when he was giving out his speech at the end,lol.

I didnt watched the others entries, and looking at the usual level of the Eurovision, I think it sucked.
But Lordi, in case you didnt noticed^^, were extremely parodic, a bit like Gwar (but far less provocant). Just look their lyrics it isn't serious of course, a bit like Kiss or other bands like that. It isnt a great band, but they're still far more skilled than any of Eurovisions losers. I think i'll buy some of their album, just to salute the effort :yay:

I havent watched it on Eurovision, but i heard the song in a teledisc once played on the music channel. And imagine, i liked it! And that makes me satisfied that they won.

Actually, as I feel targetetd by this comment D), I'll explain why I watched it : I was on msn when a freind told me to look to the TV, as I was surprised and since I was very borded, I switched on the TV and while making music on comp watched this, that's all, I'm not a fan of 2-success-hours-singers, and I hope the what are you listening to thread will make you excuse me for following that crappy event :yay:
