Wiibrew developer nlxx has released a new build to MiniMP3, a compact and effective MP3 player for the Nintendo Wii. The program has both Wiimote and Front SD support.
To use the program, you need to create a folder named MUSIC in your SD card's root, and put your MP3s and directories in there. The author does caution that you need to keep your directory names to a maximum of 6 characters.
Press the left and right buttons on the control pad to switch between directories, and press up and down to select the MP3 you want to play. The A button launches the MP3, and the Home button will send you back to the Homebrew Channel. Here's the changelog for version 2.0:
* Changed MP3 directory to /MUSIC/ (like with Mobile Phones)
* Better GUI
* Directory support (only directories in MUSIC)
* Icon and XML File for Homebrew Channel
