The mouse seems a bit off sometimes and I think there may be some acceleration. Anyone know how to turn it off? I am using xp and I have enhance pointer precision disabled and the cpl mouse acceleration fix on. Thanks
Does no one know this?

Also how do i make my sensitivity between 2 and 3. I use 1600dpi and 2 is to low 3 is to high.. tell me at least some of you know what im talking about. Is this all new gamers? Any seasoned Cal cs players?

Edit your posts so the information is within one post, do not add additional posts.

There isn't a form of making your sensitivity inbetween levels of sensitivity, simply change your mouse sensitivity, not the games if it's that much of a problem.

Just deal with it, over time you will adjust.

Or be like 90% of the hardcore gamers and buy a mouse designed for on the fly DPI.

For the lower end, I would suggest the OCZ Equalizer

Runs around 20-30 dollars, it's effective, has a few extra buttons and the DPI switch is easy access. Easy to install, the entire nine yards. It's a great starter mouse.

Orrrr

For about 40 dollars, the MX-518

One of the best mice out there for the cash. There's newer versions of it, including one where you can customize the weight of the mouse, but I'm not that hardcore. The 518 has 8 buttons and feels great to the hand.

On the fly DPI is kind of overrated, but I switch my sensitivity between games and normal desktop use pretty often. I turn my sens all the way down for when I'm in game, and it's normally almost all the way up for when I'm browsing the net.
