nano vs. reg ipod

so I was thinking about buying an Ipod(probably not until around christmas. Anyway a 4gig nano is $249 and I can get a regular Ipod with 30gig for $299. So is the nano actually worth buying when you can get 26 more gigs for $50 more dollars; granted it's not all cool and then, but still.

I'd wait for the new Video Ipod (either out now or due out in a few days). Your supposed to be able to download episodes of Lost for $1.99 the very next day after it airs and watch it on your ipod.

True, who would want to watch lost on a 2.5 inch screen.....but I can tell you....I'd be jealous if you could.

Well between the normal and the nano id say go with the normal 30 gig.
Sure the nanos cool but think about what would happen if you tripped and fell....... shit goes crazy

ive had a mini for like a year now, and its fine...not as small as a nano but i have an i trip which works pretty sweet with it, and i don't think there is one for nano yet, though prob will be. if you don't need the cutesy small as a credit card nano, id def go for the 30-60gig normal one. much nicer to store all your songs and never have to resync it

Just got myself a new iRiver H10 (6gb and pictures too!) for $170 and its fuckin great. Shop around a bit more for price and features (you dont hafta have an iPod) before you buy.

I got the H10 for 2 reasons----was much cheaper but had all the same features, and the technology changes so fast so i didnt see blowing a huge wad on it (i'll be buying a new one in 2 years anyway).

its the little gizmo you put ontop of the ipod and then you can use your ipod with your car fm stereo, pretty nice on road trips....

Yup---almost all the functions of iPod and it work exactly the same way.

Billy got away cheap with that, if it has picture storage thats a major steal.
