Next gen games

so i wanted to know what next gen games are you most anxious to play, mine are super smash bros brawl, the new zelda (not sure on name) and assassins creed they all look pretty good, i cant wait to swordfight on the wii =-)

None for me, actually. Especially as of late I am really interested in the older games, as I just tried to play some old classics again.

Oh... I am not that much up-to-date with all them fancy new words that the kids make up these days. Heck, for over 6 months I thought 'ftw' mean 'fuck the what'

If you think that, how do you think I feel? I'm feeling like an old geezer with some of these kids around. Luckily that I am a little younger than the average age of my class at school, which causes me to feel a little younger. Ironically that I hang out with people who are younger than me though... well, excluding a few, of course. (28, DAMN! What have you be doing those years, DAMN?! Excuse me)

flad you should try downloading an atari emulator and play some warlords (that game totally rocks) yeah im 15 and i dunno what ftw means i always figured it was just a typo like pwn... how can you not know what gen means its used in everyday language watching tv for 30 minutes u will hear the base word gen at least 3 times (depending on channel) Gen is actually a root word meaning "Family"

I've been catching up on some watching TV, but I can't recall hearing the word 'Gen' before.

As for an Atari emulator, that's going a bit too far for me. I am currently playing games on a SNES emulator, playing my favorite games of all times. =) Not to mention the very first RPG I've ever played.

Oh, and I am older than fifteen.

Oh yeah, that's it. Now you say it, I remember it again. And then they say that older people tend to forget things. I am convinced that I am still young enough to have a properly working memory.

No, not really. All memories I have of the SNES are good memories.

I can't recall playing any of those. Even though there were a few games that hinted murder and rape, but never would it be said or shown.

No, it doesn't really attract me either, to be honest. I am currently playing Breath of Fire II, which was my very first RPG ever.

mario rpg is funny more than fun you will laugh because its more like playing a final fantasy except the characters have nintendo models... good times, ive never heard of breath of fire ill have to look into it

Well, maybe I'll play it some time. Don't count on it though. Besides, I want to replay some games first. Final Fantasy VI is still on my list too. ^^ And I am going to take my time to play that game, just like Breath of Fire at the moment. Ahhh, memories. All RPG's I've replayed until now are a lot easier than I remember them to be though...

Breath of Fire II got a name for itself a little while later for the Playstation, as I recall. I never really got a fan of it, but Breath of Fire II for the SNES has some special memories for me as it is the very first RPG I've ever played. Next to that, it is also known for having exceptional good music. Besides that, the story and features of the game aren't very original or special. The fact that you can build your own city is quite an unique feature though, which always kept me entertained. It remains an old game nonetheless.
