Nothing showing on Comp Monitors

Haven't been on yesterday cause the Monitor of the Computer I always use for going on isn't working - nothing shows on the Monitor.
Thankfully, my sisters' computer monitor and the one in the basement are still working, though it's gonna be awhile until the one I always use gets fixed.
My knowledge of computer stuff isn't very vast (I've only gotten a 60ish in Comm. Tech.).
This happened before, but I forget how it was dealt with. Any suggestions?

That sounds serious if all moniters going down at once. it could be a virus, but that depends on the set-up at your place. if it was fixed before, you can fix it again. can't you?

Actually, I just realised that it's just the one that I always use, not every single one (went a bit paranoid til I found out).

Thing is, every time it gets started the Monitor screen just stays black. :(

I just hope it isn't from me leaving the Firewall off from after being on battle.net.

Edit: And, unfortunately, I wasn't the one who did the fixing when this happened before; it was my dad who did the fixing.

Edit 2: My dad swapped one of the old monitors with the one that was being used for this computer that I use often, and it works (all except for being able to play Warcraft 3 TFT without getting the messed screen).

The Monitor that was being used with this computer, before this started happening, has BenQ on the lower left corner below the display screen. Also, my dad plans to get yet another Monitor to replace that BenQ one.

Edit 3: And, unfortunately, the KDS Monitor, that got swapped witht the BenQ one seems to be screwing up the graphics of wc3.
Here's what it is: Every time wc3 gets started up, when the screen goes black, it starts going fuzzy, and not in the common way. It keeps me from seeing what I'm doing in the wc3 game menu; can't see the Single Player Button, can't see anything clearly cause of the fuzzing thing. Any thoughts on why it's doing this for this KDS Monitor?

@Undead_Lives> Well, this KDS Monitor WAS able to handle them before. Might as well change them now, then. Except my only question is: How to I do that and how?

Hm, let's see.
For your monitor's resolution, just right-click on your wallpaper and go to properties. Then go to Settings, and change your resolution down a notch. Click Apply.
If you can get in game, go to Options, Video, and change the settings as desired.
If that doesn't work then you could have a bigger problem.

if you want the ultimate test get heros of might and magic 5 and see if your moniter can handle that. even though its a bit costy but fun game XD

My dad found something that could fix the problem with the BenQ Monitor, though the way I was going to explain it seems to have jump-shipped on me (mostly).

I plan on asking him to explain it to me so that I can write it down (so that I don't forget again, else I'll keep on forgetting at a constant rate).

I asked my dad about the solution he came up with, and it turns out it doesn't work. :(
Seems we (me and dad) are stuck with getting a new Monitor and getting rid of the BenQ one.
