Oblivion on the Wii?

Has anybody heard anything about the possiblility of Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion coming tothe Wii? I've seen some reports that say yes, and others no... any info?

I doubt the Wii has enough power to cope with that game.

I have never heard anything about that, if there was a port to the Wii, I don't think it would be any good as loads of content would have to be removed and the graphics toned down.

Ill just stick to it on my PC with the Expansion packs.

I think that there is a big missunderstanding going on regarding Oblivion for Wii.
A new engine is released for Wii and it has earlier been used for Oblivion. IRL that means that games similar to Oblivion is possible to develop for the Wii.

I hope that this brings some light to the subject.

Right this is really getting on my nerves - a new engine does not make graphics better! It just means new things can be done, like different pyshics.

The wii's hard drive does not change just because of a new engine!

Oblivion might happen but never with the same scale as PS3

For those exact reasons I don't think the game would work for the wii

Well, they have already announced that the Wii is not powerful enough to handle such a large game, but it culd be possible, though the game would probably suck....
