so my wireless has been going in and out lately for what i thought was no reason right? then i download America's Army and my wireless is "DISABLED" and naturally i'm like "wtf mate?" So I download SPYDOCTOR and ADWARE SE and run those... SPYDOCTOR find 178 spywares its first time around, finds 208 the 2nd time, and ADWARE finds 31 adware stuff. K this is all great except I've never had any pop up problems or anything like that. Well, in the middle of the scan this pop's up :

followed by a pop for XBOX...

I check my processing files and i have one in there called MSSEARCHNET.EXE ... I google that file and apparently its this crazy tojan crap that no anti-virus can get rid of... i never had that before.... So I unstall SPYDOCTOR and ADWARE and instal NORTON's 15 day free trail. My pc is restarting all the time now and each time it restarts NORTON says 1 thing is causing problems and asks me to fix it....

yea you should keep using Adware SE its some good shit...but spyware doesnt necesarily deal with ads it can just be passive until a certain ammount of time passes and then it pwns ur comp

Seriously, try "ewido". i had one of those that nothing could get rid of, and ewido's anti-malware/anti-spy stomped it out. Im a fully paid subscriber to their shit now...updates twice a day and ive never had one popup since...well worth the 30 bucks for 13 months.

I use PC tools antivirus it 's awesome. Haven't had a prob yet. But, I run out of trial days in 14 days. If anyone has a product key for that let me know. I really want it. Thanks for the help. Also, rancid use CCleaner. It's free and, clear's up unwanted files that slow down and, my be bad for your computer.

no, so fuck norton i dont want it!!!! CCAPP.EXE which is norton's core file is infected on my pc and norton cant detect it. Funny its right under nortons nose, so to speak. I'm tired of fighting off all these trojans. it's 8:10am, I'm only one woman against, yet again, 214 little tojans 'men' and they have sucessfully taken over 99% of my pc usage at the moment so everything is running uber uber slow and its taking forever. Mean time between time my internet connection keeps getting reset by these little bastards.

You know, if i was a tojan, i wouldn't disable my connection back to where ever i spawned from. I'd leave the internet connection alone and invite my family... but whatever. I'll post a SS of the crazy huge close to infinity number that spybot is going to detect after its done scanning.
