Philosophy

Everyone like philosophy so I thought I'd create a topic about it.
The idea of this topic was that a person would post a question and the next poster would reply with his thoughts of the related question and then ask another question. Please add a picture relate to your question.

So here is my question:
Do you think there could possibly be a life inside our sun?

As Raging said, it would be possible, but not in a life force we, humans, would be familiar with. The heat forces us to stay a certian distance, would we break that distance, there is no possible way (yet, perhaps) to survive. Would something live inside of the sun, then it would be something that is highly adjusted to the heat rays and the radiation it would give. Eitherway, if something would be there, it wouldn't even be safe for humans.

Yes, That's why this is so interesting.
The idea of the topic was though that the person replying would ask a question in addition to the reply.

Yeah, but i doubt it, really, except maybe veyr tiny, single celled, organisms, but even so I doubt it.

I'll ask another question, I don't really what philosophy questions are but -
WHat came first, the chicken or the egg? ;D

Not exactly something I'd actually would stay awake for to think about. But a good subject to talk about nonetheless. Fact remains that I'm interested in such things...

I don't think that will be a good idea. You'll remove the 'seriousness' from the thread and it'll quickly become very chaotic. Letting people share their opinion would be a good thing, starting a new discussion with every post will become chaos and the subjects won't be ended well. They'll stay open every time...

I believe the immensely high temperature would turn any molecule into plasma, so no, there cannot be life as we know it on Earth, and it's doubtful that there is any form of life. Of course, you could count the light and heat the sun emits as the light and heat that allow life on Earth to exist. So in that sense, you can extrapolate a bit and say that the Sun is life.

And whoever asked about the chicken or the egg, it depends. What type of egg? Normal egg, or the chicken egg?

The chicken and the egg thing can be solved two ways depending on if you believe in the Judeo-Christian beliefs of creationism or if you believe in evolution. For creationism obviously the chicken would've come first as God supposdly would have created the chicken itself, making an egg and nothing to watch it would've been foolish. For evolution however the egg would've come first, as we know evolution is a very slow process so the chicken egg we know today was most likely born to a non-chicken a long time ago. Eventually over time it spread over the earth but you can assume that the egg must've come first, even if it wasn't a chickens' egg the thing inside the egg would have been a chicken.

True, and I fully agree with that, except the fact that we don't know if any sort of 'creature' can survive the heat (and rays) of the sun. For all we know it, there is something there.
