Problem with Windows Media Player

This just started a few days ago, anytime I go to view a video on a webpage, it comes up as a green screen. I can hear the audio that goes along with the video, but the video screen stays green. I tried reinstalling WMP10, did not fix the problem. Anyone know how to fix this?

My green goes green or black sometimes while I can still hear the audio. Try this.......double click on the green or black screen. When I do that it maximizes Media player and I can see the video. Then you can just minimize it again and it should go back into the small page embedded window but show the video.

It could also be a vid codec the site (video) is being played back in and either ur WMP doesen't have it installed or it errored out on the d/l.....hope this helpz out.....

yeah, I tried it again, and it says it has an error downloading the codec, anyway to fix this? Where can I download codecs?

1. uninstall wmp
2. dl winamp
3. enjoy and wonder why u didnt do this years ago
