google isn't full of corporate nazis though. I know a few people who work there and its unlike any other corporation I've ever seen.


Wolfram isn't going to directly compete with google as much as some people think. At least, not right now in its current state.

I tried it on launch date (friday was a brief test run). Its an impressive piece, but still has plenty of room for expansion.

Wow This is awesome I will defiantly use this when I'm curious about different things,but I will still use googles to search websites and stuff.

Look into Google a little deeper, of course all of their employees are a bunch of smart mindless drones with as many breaks they want and they can play with toys at work. Coincidence?

Wolfram is just in it's test or beta phase, it will not affect Google's web searching dominance. As far as digging up information and other things Google is going to loose a lot of hits day to day, thus reducing the amount of eyes on advertisements. That means less companies will pay to advertise meaning Google looses some money, they are a little worried.
