sensor bar upgrade

hey i was looking around the web in order to change my sensor cuzi always have to move and i found out that aparrently u can mod the sensor bar by adding leds to it so that it can pick up motion in a wider area.
here is an image of the add ons they put to the end of the sensor

Dude i have no idea... -_-' I dont even think it's real or functonal at all!!! like comon why a box of matches if its a real picture? there are so many different things that you could use that look better or would probibly do a better job so im saying this picture is a FAKE!

ya i think so too i mean i could make this so called "upgrade" at home. i could just start inventing new wii "upgrades" in my garage. LOL :D

lol its not neccarilly the match box just a picture i found that works with the idea basically how it works is the leds on the box work very much like the ones inside the sensor bar the only difference is that when u add more the signal gets wider. i also hear that apparently if u put a candle at the sides of the sensor it also works the same way

The matchbox will work fine.
The Wii Sensor bar does nothing really, it's all in the WiiMote, the sensor bar itself sends no data at all to the Wii, the cord is only there to power the leds inside of it. (DUH)
The WiiMote tries to find the leds and assumes that's the center of the TV and measures the distance and height from that and sends the data to the Wii, that's why you can put the sensor bar upside down and it still works fine. And YES candles will work, remove the sensor bar, place a few candles ontop of the TV and you're good to go.

i didnt think candles would really work
