Sound & Video Issiues

Sound Issiues:
For the last few days I and several other clan members have been having sound problems. When a match starts I can not hear my gun or footsteps. I can hear eveyone elses just fine. If I join a room that they are already in game? I join them and get no sounds from my character at all. It will be fine one match and then messed up the next match. Any help would be appreciated.

Video Issiues:
I click right mouse to use my scope and the screen is black except for my HUD and health. Click again and it is just fine. It does it randomly on several different maps and only when I try to use my scope.

I have already removed the game and reinstalled it. All of my video and sound drivers are up to date.

It happens to me too, the best thing you can do is restart you computer before playing and avoid larger then 6v6 matches.

For your video issue have you tried changing the game resolution? I get that same problem when playing ca on my laptop when I scope in or just randomly sprint. I fixed it by using a 800x600 resolution.

For your sound problem maybe its lag or something I never had those issues with the sounds

I don't seem to have them as often now. I maxed out my laptops ram to 2gigs and it seems to for the most part stopped happening.

How are your other computer specs? Is the processor good?

Yeah, either it's a bad comp or a bad install.

I did a re-install on it to after I added the ram. I run in at 1024 x 768.

My laptop specs are:
Pentium 4 HT 3ghz
800 mgz bus
2 gigs PC2700 400mgz ram
ATI Radeon Mobility 9600 128 mb
Windows XP Pro service pack 3

3 guys this morning were having the same issiues on the server I was on. It just seems to be a random thing.
