Swearing

As everyone would probably know, swearing, cursing and insulting (not necessarily meaning it) is quite common in daily life and I honestly do not know anyone personally who doesn't.

There are numerous people that swear or curse a lot in very normal conversations and sentences. The cause of this could be a lot of things, which personality, raising and the place of growing up are mere examples of. Be a bit creative, I'm sure you can think of more, if necessary.

Now my question is, what do you think of people that swear (or curse) numerous times in a normal conversation. Do you think such people are complete morons, or do you think it is quite normal?

When I look a bit in the past, I can't recall knowing many people that sweared, cursed or insulted a lot in a mere conversation. But when I look around me now, it is very, very normal.

i think its normal to swear in a normal conversation, unless of course its in a formal environment, then its just wrong.

but i hate it when people reaplace every other word with shit and fuck.
that just makes them sound stupid.

eg: dude fuck, the other fuckin day this shit went down with this fuckin bitch, she was fuckin fine, she fucking gave me some great head and shit.

lol

Yeah ^ I agree, even though I am not going to swear on this/any forum on purpose/without reason, then swearing in a normal conversation is normal as long as not every second word is replaced.

Most people, including myself, whom I hang out with swear normally, but ussually its not like every other sentence. It's pretty easy to tell when they're pissed off cause they say fuck every other word.

my view on cursing is completely neutral, i normally dont curse just to not upset somone but if its part of a song lyric ill say anything that it says i really dont mind if peoples tounges are as loose as paris hiltons happy spot, but when people accentuate curse words then i find them stupid like for instances when someone says what the fffffuuuckkk! or like SHIIIIAT you know what i mean right?

Well, as for myself, I am quite modest when I talk to a few people in particular. I'm polite to those superior to me (a boss as example, ironically not my former boss, Ramon, or my former boss from somewhere else, Dennis) and a tad to my teachers.
However, this all changes dramatically towards a certain selection of friends. It is hard to find any kind of normal word when I talk to the Devil's Advocate (Franklin), that's simply because we don't agree on many things. We have a completely different view on many things, but we have a similar mentality and ambition, which made us friends. But our conversations usually exist out of a lot of swearing. Near the start of the year - shortly after we got on friendly terms - many people thought Franklin and I couldn't stand each other because we were always shouting and swearing towards each other, which could be quite annoying. But that's just the way we talk... not to mention that I am quite blunt to my friends.

I cuss when I'm pissed... Or casually but no major words. Like F**k.. Or S*it. When talking casually. Unless it's somebody that cusses a lot then i usually just say "F**k you" back and what not... But not to anyone that I don't totally know

Personally I don't swear. The worst thing I'd say is DAMMIT!, only when I'm angry.
I find swearing has lost it's meaning, and I find that there's absolutely no point to swearing constantly.
