The Burning Crusade - Closed Beta

About 3 weeks ago I received an e-mail from Blizzard welcoming me in the Burning Crusade Closed Beta Test. I, being an old WOW player couldn't just let the key die there so I picked up my old game and installed it right away. I decided to go for the PVP server as a Female Blood Elf Mage.
I'm not a hardcore player, but I try to use the time I play as well as possible. Here are a few screenshots I shot a few days ago.

I am not much into WoW but what I heard from one of my friends the new beta is awesome and the graphics has been greatly improved!

anyway.. nothing wrong with Wow.. just sucks with the payment thing...

there not really addicted just pathetic when i played WoW i didnt get addicted i was just like whoa this is pretty cool and played it like once a week other then that i was sleeping alot n stuff

And WoW is addicting, as are many games. It raises dopamine levels.

Then I'm immune to it. I know a lot of people who are addicted to it though. I just can't stand spending so much time on a game. I got the key by random, if you want one you could try eBay.

I played WoW for 2 weeks and got bored. Cant see the addiction. All the classes have same spells. If you pick dwarf warrior or undead warrior or tauren warrior they all start with same spells. Pretty boring if you ask me. After I tryied all the classes i quit.

In all honestly, I cannot really imagine the addiction level of WoW either. When it comes to addiction, (old) games like The Sims, Black & White and the classic Tetris comes to mind. I'm not sure what WoW would have in common with other 'addictive' games, as it is (mostly) clear what their success could be. Besides, I am not sure what makes WoW better than most other MMORPG's, except having a history in other games.

i dont know about the sims it got old fast but black and white is so awesome i love throwing the villagers from island to island

Looks like Blizzard did a wonderful job. its a shame they cant direct this attention to a better game.. lets say... Wc4

i would prefer them to start a new game series, diablo and warcraft have lived out what i think of as there good years and starcraft is just meh cuz blizzard (in my opinion) should stick to fantasy and stay away from sci fi (though ghost did look awesome)
