WC3 or NWK2

The bulk of blackisle jumped over to feargus his OBSIDIAN entertainment. They also made games like KotR2 and neverwinter knights. Black isle made games like baldursgate, icewinddale and fallout. Who cares...but now they are going to do Neverwinter Knights. It is comming out next year. Im planning to jump games, since NWK2 is made by the same guys who made baldursgate/icewinddale/fallout. Also they are going to have a huge modding scene in which i want to be a member from.

Is anybody els thinking of crossing over to NWK2?

Not me. I never played Never Winter "Knights" 2 and have no real intention of doing so, since I was extremely disappointed in Never Winter Nights 1.

Bioware made Baldurs Gate, not Black Isle. I'm not going to jump over to NWN2 because I'm quite happy with the first one and my computer won't be able to play it.

Not me. I never played Never Winter "Knights" 2 and have no real intention of doing so, since I was extremely disappointed in Never Winter Nights 1.[/b]

1 was indeed disapointing. you didnt have a party like in PST, IWD, BG1/2 and other dugeons and dragon games. This resulted in a very boring 1 perspective view of the D&D world. Also the level/class was weird in my opinion. Obsidian knows this, and is going to update the engine and add alot of things that were left out in the original nwk. So to my knowledge it will be a cross of bg and nwk.

This is a link to a interview with feargus who talks about nwk. Feargus in my opinion is compleetly right. they are really doing their best to wied out the flaws.
And im a blackisle/bioware/blizzard/westwood fan so im going to give them a chance.

Huh...then why is it in the blackisle folder?... maybe my mistake but i always understood that they made bg...

You should check out Dragon Age, its a long way away but it sounds like its going to be very fun. One of the former-administrators of WarCraft 3 Mod Forge set up a fansite for it last year.

I already read things about that. If i remember correctly its a rpg with D&D like systems and controls. The first time Bioware made up there own rpg rules (well second if you count jade empire)
Im also very interested in that game. as i am rich and cant drink as much as i make in a month (id die if i doe that) Im going to buy both games. Best dicision.

That came as a surprise. I can do that with my eyes closed by now... some parts just get boring...

i walk into a dungeon thing after spending 3 hours getting out of my room... and then asking npc's what the hell is going on and they just repeat the same thing... so i find myself in the basement into a portal with ogres and skeletal mages slaughtering me!
