Well, that could be good too. :P It remains unfortunate that they could be beaten by Holland's B-squad. Comapred to Angola and Trinidad & Tobago, I wasn't too surprised about Iran. Though I must admit that I did not expect them to score. Excluding the goal from Iran, it was exactly what I was expecting. Better than I expected. It ended in a 1 - 0 victory for Portugal, but Angola definitely showed that they can football. They heavily specialized in long placed shots and got quite a lot of good chances because of that. Unfortunately, just like Mexico - Iran, I didn't give the game too much attention. For more than 3/4th of the game, there was someone who was in need of my help. Considering I placed that person on a higher priority than the WC-game, well... fill in the rest. :P Poor indeed, but unfortunately, that's how Holland always plays. However, I do not believe it is because of the absence of Kluivert. In my opinion, despite being the top-scorer of Holland, Kluivert is quite overrated, not to mention not very fit at the moment because of his many injuries. More importantly that he has three top-strikers in front of him: Ruud van Nistelrooy, Roy Makaay (not in the selection) and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (not in the selection, top scorer of the Dutch league and top-scorer of the EC-U21). The absence of Seedorf and Davids might be one of the reasons though. But Van Basten just doesn't want to take them along... Hmm... names doesn't really ring a bell for me. The Mexican players are players that I'm not really familiar with, in opposite of many European teams.
