my action reply for my gamecube wont work on my wii if mine faulty or is this meant to happen

1st of all, I created this thread before (cannot link to it as i am using Wii)
2nd. Yes it is'nt supposed to work in Wii

that sucks as i wanted to get all the characters for the super smash bros melee coz me and my bf couldnt be bothered to play the game to unlock everything but it didnt work

i couldnt be bothered to work for them as i just wanted a quick battle
